Build Skills On Campus!
UNC Charlotte offers many options for you to find jobs, both on and off campus.
Example Campus Programs

University Professional Internship Program
Internships offered through the University Professional Internship Program (UPIP) differ significantly from most other student employment positions on campus, as they are designed to provide professional knowledge and skill development consistent with your major/career goals. UPIP positions are not your average student employment job where you just show up and complete tasks as directed. We work with departments and students to make sure that experiences are valuable and mutually beneficial.
Community Internship Program
Coming back Fall 2025
This program is designed to connect students eligible for Federal Work Study with meaningful internship opportunities in nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies, and other community-supporting entities.

Resident Advisor Program
Resident Advisors (RAs) are responsible for carrying out the values of the Department of Housing and Residence Life by assisting with the growth, belonging, and community on their floors and within their hall(s). The RA is a student peer leader who lives in the residence halls and is in an integral position in the Department of Housing and Residence Life. The RA position has a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to being a role model, community leader, educator, administrator, helper, and team member.
Academic Peer Support Campus Jobs
